An on-demand Telefogas service has been introduced, which means that Cogwheel Railway services will only run before 5:30 on weekdays, and 7:30 at weekends and on public holidays, and after 22:00 every day if requested by BKK customers. During the on-demand periods, the cogwheel trains can only be used between Városmajor and the requested station.

The request must be made online at telefogas.bkk.hu or by calling the BKK customer service number (+36 1 3255 255) at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

At the Városmajor terminus, you can also notify the dispatcher of your intention to travel before the scheduled departure time.
