Details:

From the night of 1 July to 2 July, the operation of night services in Budapest and the surrounding settlements will change significantly. Details are available on the Night Transport Changes page.

  • Night service 909A will no longer operate. Instead, trolleybus 972 will operate at weekends until approx. 2:00 from Deák Ferenc tér M to Orczy tér.

  • Night service 916 will no longer operate. Instead, a bus service will operate during the first half of the night marked with a daytime route number along the daytime route between Deák Ferenc tér M and Széll Kálmán tér M.

  • Night service 931A will no longer operate. Instead, night trolleybus 980 will operate on Fogarasi út along the extended route of daytime trolleybus 80 between Deák Ferenc tér M and Örs vezér tere M+H.

  • Night service 956 will no longer operate. On the Buda side, it will be replaced by bus 905 operating on the route of bus 5, while on the Pest side, it will be replaced by a new night service marked with 969 running between Deák Ferenc tér M and Pécel, Kun József utca.

  • Night service 968 will no longer operate. Passengers travelling between Kispest and Újhegy can use night services 984 and 985, and between Újhegy and Rákoskeresztúr night service 995 (providing a transfer to night service 969 for intermediate stops on Pesti út). Cinkotai út can be reached by night service 908.

  • Night services 972 and 972B will no longer operate. Passengers travelling between  Móricz Zsigmond körtér M and Törökbálint can use night services 922, 922B and 988, which will operate on an extended route, running from Móricz Zsigmond körtér M through the city centre to Budakeszi.

  • Night service 973 will no longer operate. Instead, new night busline 933 will operate between Nagytétény, ipartelep and Újpalota, Nyírpalota út (running on the route of former night service 973 on the Buda side, and on the route of bus 133E on the Pest side).

  • Night service 973A will no longer operate. Instead, new night bus 933A will operate  between Újpalota, Nyírpalota út and Budatétény vasútállomás (Campona).

  • Night service 979A will no longer operate. The service will continue to run as night service 979 between Deák Ferenc tér M and Csepel, Csillagtelep.

  • Night service 980 will no longer operate. Instead, a new bus service 946 will operate between Újpalota, Nyírpalota út and Dél-pesti autóbuszgarázs.

  • Night service 990 will no longer operate. On the Buda side, a new night bus service marked with 912 will operate between Deák Ferenc tér M and Mártonhegy via Széll Kálmán tér M, while a new night bus service marked with 910 will operate between Deák Ferenc tér M and Csillebérc, Gyermekvasút (Normafa). On the Pest side, a new night bus service marked with 997 will operate via Kerepesi út between Rákoskert and the city centre (night trolleybus 980 will serve Fogarasi út). Night busline 997 will run along Pesti út instead of Péceli út, the Rákoscsaba section of Péceli út will be served by new night services marked with 969 and 995, while Zrínyi utca and Csabagyöngye utca will be served by new night service 995.

  • Night service 994B will no longer operate. Busline 994 running on a modified route from Határ út M will provide the connection to the city boundary, operating in Gyál first on the route of former 994B, then on the route of 994.

  • Night services 996 and 996A will no longer operate. New night busline 946 will operate between Újpalota and Dél-pesti autóbuszgarázs, while night services 950 and 950A will run on a modified route via Árpád út between Újpest and Újpalota. Rákos út will provide a direct city centre connection, by new night services 905 and 905A, while night bus marked with 941 will serve Rákosszentmihály.

  • Night service 998 will no longer operate. The connection between Cinkotai autóbuszgarázs and Rákoscsaba-Újtelep will be provided by night busline 908 (also serving Rákoskeresztúr, városközpont), while new night busline 946 will operate between Újpalota and Dél-pesti autóbuszgarázs.

  • Night service 999 will no longer operate. Instead, Night busline 994 running to Gyál can be used between Határ út M and Dél-pesti autóbuszgarázs.
